Following our 1-0 loss to Arsenal at the Emirates, Moises Caicedo expressed disappointment that the Blues were unable to convert our possession into goals.

Even though Mikel Merino scored the first goal early on, the Blues likely had the better first half since Marc Cucurella and Pedro Neto, among others, had opportunities. Even though the second period was evenly matched after the interval, Chelsea appeared to have the best chance of winning, but they were unable to secure a share of the victory in North London.

Although Moises was disappointed that we couldn’t find an equaliser at the Emirates, he saw the bright side, as the Ecuadorian highlighted our will and determination despite numerous injuries.

“It was a difficult game,” Moises said.

They were superior for the opening twenty minutes, which is annoying because I thought we controlled the game after that. Even if we were superior than them, we still had to score goals to win. For me, every game is a battle. Whether it’s a derby is irrelevant.

“We were good because we demonstrated good character.” We greatly rely on [the injured players] to assist us in scoring goals. We have more players now that they are gone. Enzo and Neto are both playing as strikers, and everyone is putting in a lot of effort to win the games.

The 23-year-old admitted that while his side may seem youthful, Moises values personal attributes like character and desire more than age.

The management has occasionally stated that age is irrelevant, he added. We’re males. We will definitely win games if we believe in ourselves, show our character, and work hard on the pitch.

The midfielder acknowledged that, with the team concentrated on earning European qualifying, our goal hasn’t changed in spite of the loss.

“We are focused on ourselves because that is the most important thing,” he continued. “We definitely want to play in the Champions League next season and things are close.”

“The goal is to win every game and advance to the Champions League, and we are working hard to achieve that.”
