
A nine-year-old child was taken to hospital following a rush-hour crash.
At 8.30am on Wednesday, April 2, Cleveland Police were called to reports of a collision on Mersey Road, in Redcar, involving a pedestrian and a car.
Police confirmed a nine-year-old boy was injured but his injuries are not believed to be life threatening. A spokesperson said: “The boy, aged 9, was taken to James Cook University Hospital by ambulance with injuries not believed to be life threatening.”
