Police had to block traffic
A car ‘ended up on its roof’ in an incident close to a Bedworth pub. A part of Coventry Road, close to the Griffin Inn, was blocked earlier this morning (April 4).
It followed reports on social media of a collision that left a car reportedly on its roof. Police and medics from West Midlands Ambulance Service (WMAS) were spotted at the scene.
WMAS confirmed to CoventryLive that 999 calls were made to report a road traffic collision at just after 7am. An ambulance was sent to the scene.
We were called to reports of an RTC on Coventry Road in Griff, Nuneaton at 7.04am,” a WMAS spokesperson said. “We sent an ambulance to the scene where, on arrival, crews found two women who they assessed for minor injuries before they were both discharged at the scene with selfcare advice.”

Police officers had to control traffic around the area during the clear-up operation at the scene.
