A stretch of the A37 Dorchester Road was closed after a crash this morning, wednesday, April 21. According to traffic monitoring site Inrix, the road was shut in both directions near Stoford, located around two-and-a-half miles south of Yeovil.
The crash took place between Hoopers Lane and Netherton Lane. The road reopened and traffic returned to normal by 11.30am.
Inrix said: “Accident cleared on A37 Dorchester Road Northbound from Netherton turning to Stoford turning.”
Avon and Somerset Police said: “Shortly after 7am today April 21), we received a report that two vehicles had left the A37 Dorchester Road near Stoford and collided with a hedge. Officers are in attendance and have closed the road. No injuries were reported.”

According to Inrix, a collision from Netherton turning to Stoford turning has closed the A37 Dorchester Road northbound. Traffic is handling it nicely. Only northbound traffic is closed, according to sensors.
Due to an accident, the A37 Dorchester Road was closed in both directions, causing traffic to back up from Hoopers Lane (Stoford) to Netherton Lane (Closworth).
